charmed life.

some days i definitely would not think that i live a charmed life.  gah, who am i kidding, in the past couple of years, some days have been just plain awful.  but most days i get up and look around and realize that, yes, i sure do. 

loving this song by joy williams and trent dabbs.  joy has the kind of voice and songwriting talent that i wish i had.  meh.  oh well.  i'll just enjoy this song in my sun-drenched living room with my babies.  here's to sunshine filled days and dreamy starlit nights.

the most recent gifting opportunity i've been happy to participate in is to the lovely Renee Zellweger.  having loved her in Jerry Maguire, Shark Tale and of course, every 'average' girl's favorite movie, Bridget Jones' Diary, it is totally an honor to send her the necklace and earring set as pictured above in conjunction with The Artisans Group.  handmade in sterling silver, i am hoping the clean lines of this rustic design will catch her eye.  and please God, let her ears be pierced so that she can wear the matching earrings!!!!  watch for this set in my shop soon!

oh camilla!

so not only is my etsy BFF Julie fantastically talented, now the world of Grey's Anatomy knows it too!  Julie was part of the GBK Oscars Gift Lounge, and the lovely Camilla Luddington was all over this gemstone cuff!  we all know how fabulous Julie's cuffs are, having already been showcased on The Vampire Diaries! 

Camilla has to be my favorite new character on Grey's, and the cuff she posed with at the Gift Lounge totally suits both her style and intern Jo's.  you can check out the rest of Julie's celebrity stylings HERE - and yay for celebrity trendspotting!  maybe one day Julie's designs will show up in the hallways of Seattle Grace Mercy West...

from paper to reality.

 

this drawing stayed stuck to my desk at the office for a few months before i took it down to bring home with me when i started my maternity leave.  then it stayed stuck to the fridge, then on the cupboard above the kettle, then in my sketchbook... until i finally had the time to make the design.  i am really happy with the finished product, which i made entirely from scratch (earwires and all!!!!) from sterling and reclaimed rose gold filled wires.  part dreamcatcher, part jellyfish, and completely modern and organic, i love them.  thoughts?
