the mini and i were downtown in our old 'hood today - we went to the dentist (it was her first "real" time and she did great, despite only letting the dentist clean only 2 teeth.  yes, that's right.  2.  sigh.) and had lunch with L, and did some urban hiking on the filthy city sidewalks.  on our way back to the car, the little red heart on this poster caught my eye.  and i stopped to read it.  it said:

i love it when i get inspired by customer requests.  and here is the product of one of those requests!!!  three twisted bands married to three simple bands.  minimalist, rustic, beautiful... if i do say so myself!  (thanks, sheep!)

(love the way the photos turned out as well - who knew a not-so great paint job would be the perfect backdrop?)
